N-Tech Weather Policy
In case of bad weather, N-Tech classes will follow PISD. If the Plano Independent School District shuts down because of bad weather, N-Tech classes will also be cancelled.
N-Tech Scholarship Fund Policy
1. The purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to provide the Family Registration Fee and/or partial/full Class Fees for members of N-Tech that have financial needs.
2. Recommendations/requests for disbursements should be made to a board member by the recipient or by someone who is familiar with all the circumstances pertinent to the situation.
3. Disbursements from the fund should normally be approved by the Executive Board, either in person or by telephone.
4. A generally recommended guideline for disbursements would be any or all of the following:
a. Current Family Registration Fee ($40)
b. $25 per student for Class Fees
c. amount over and above the $25 Class Fees, based on need
5. No one family shall receive scholarship funds for longer than three consecutive semesters, unless there are special circumstances approved by the Executive Board.
6. Funds shall be raised through free will donations, appointed fundraisers, and from the general fund, as needed.
