Animal Cookies

Preheat oven to 350.

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup packed brown sugar

½ cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 large egg

Mix above ingredients together.

Stir in:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Shape dough by 2 tablespoonfuls into slightly flattened balls and ropes. Make animal shapes with balls and ropes of dough on cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool cookies 3 minutes on cookie sheet, then remove with spatula to wire rack. Cool
