CRUNCHY BEEF BAKE

2 cups corkscrew noodles

1 pound lean ground beef

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

1 garlic clove, minced

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1-14-1/2 ounce can tomatoes, with liquid cut up

3/4-teaspoon salt

1 2.8 french-fried onions

 

Cook noodles as directed on package.  Meanwhile, brown ground beef with green pepper and garlic until beef is browned and pepper is tender.

Drain noodles.  Combine meat with soup, tomatoes and salt.  Put in a 3-quart dish.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Uncover and top with onions.  Bake for 5 more minutes
