1 pound lean ground
beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper,
chopped
2 loaves (1 pound
each) frozen bread dough, thawed
4 cups shredded
Mozzarella cheese, divided use
1 package slice
pepperoni
1-4 ounce can sliced mushrooms
1-14 ounce can pizza sauce
In a skillet brown the
ground beef, onion and green pepper.
Drain well. Divide one loaf of
bread dough in half. Press over the
bottom and up the sides of two greased 9-inch pie pans. Sprinkle each pie with 1-1/2 cups of
Mozzarella cheese. Divide the beef
mixture and spoon over the cheese. Top
with pepperoni and mushrooms. Divide the
remaining loaf of bread and roll into two 10-inch circles. Cover each pie with the dough and crimp the
edges to seal. Spread half of the pizza
sauce on each pie. Sprinkle with the
remaining cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for
25-30 minutes.
